Biography of Princess Diana

Princess Diana was a style icon and one of the 20th century’s most influential people.

She was born into a family of British nobility on 1 July 1961. In 1975, his father inherited the title of ‘Earl Spencer’ and Diana became ‘Lady Diana Spencer’.

On 29 July 1981, she became the first wife of Prince Charles, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II. As Princess of Wales, she undertook various royal duties on behalf of the Queen and represented her at functions worldwide.

She gave birth to Prince William and Prince Harry in 1982 and 1984 respectively.

She tried her best to raise her children as “normally” as possible. When her both sons became young, she took them to orphanages and homeless shelters to ensure that they had an understanding of others’ distress and emotions.

She won the hearts of lakhs of people worldwide with her generosity, compassion, and pioneering charity work.

The royal lady was not only a fashion trendsetter but also a significant figure who worked against the use of anti-personnel landmines.

She died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.
