Biography
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York’s Columbia University in 1983. In 1988, he received his law degree from Harvard Law School.
He worked as a community organizer for the Developing Communities Project. Barack Obama taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School. In 1992, he married Michelle Robinson, a fellow Harvard law graduate.
He has written many books, including Change We Can Believe In and The Audacity of Hope. His autobiography is titled ‘Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance’.
He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 for his extraordinary efforts at international diplomacy.
Obama left office in 2017 after two terms as US President.
